Synopsis
Four high school girls in uniforms walk silently on the barren earth. These girls are time travelers who had been sent 6000 years into the future, from their present in which the same day is endlessly repeated, in order to evade human extinction.
They studied time travel in school, were examined by the aptitude test, and were sent to the future as told. What should they do now? They had no idea. The only thing they could take with them from the present was a light, toy-like cellphone. Of course, it receives no signal here.
As the girls are walking, they see strange birds flying in the sky, and a discolored river in the distance.
Then, one girl finds an abandoned house, and recognizes the name inscribed on the front gates.

After watching it, I don’t know what I feel. It feels like I watched an indiefilm anime episode. I wish there was more backstory. Why they got caught into that… other time to be shown it, just to end it like that.. I JUST WANT MOAR.

really interesting? I can’t tell anything from that blurb, except it’s a post-apocalyptic world with four bishoujos.
And you call that really interesting?
could use a bit more time at the end for how they figured out she needed to destroy her cell and a few other things.
I get that it needed to be destroyed because she was still holding onto the past, but a little more would have been nice.
I think the name’s pretty… eye-catching. I hope it’ll have some sort of anime or something to follow (since apparently, based off the comments, we aren’t really told enough)

Future, past, and present? Sounds like a very good way to get lots of sales.
Imagine if they did that for some extremely popular thing, like Angel Beats, Clannad, K-ON, etc. Oh, how much money they would make…

Considering that breaking your cellphone throws you magically into an alternate universe, they really should make them more sturdy.

Just to clear some stuff up…
Anime = future
Manga = present
Light novel = past
You need all 3 to know what is going on.
Is anyone translating the manga and novel?
huh? this anime gave me a brain fart
so basically that was just a teasing waste of time. it looked promising too.
From what I understood. They went into the future to figure out how to help the world to prevent it from extinction. (obviously). I am not sure why there’s four girls, when one is enough. One of the girls, main girl (i guess) has a boyfriend, who is the guy with the white hair (maybe, unless the secret ending was a lie.) the girls talk about how the teachers don’t really talk much about how the past can change the future. And so when the Guy group (also guessing, that her boyfriend is in it) figures out about the past/present of how it works, they tell the girls that they’ll leave a time capsule (or however people call it nowadays) and so when her boyfriend tells her to break the phone, it also changes the future, since it was from the past. The girls also talk about how there were many other futures that the world could become. And so the four girls teleport to the other future :D I don’t get the movie though, referring to the one in the anime at the beginning and end. Only noticing that she isn’t afraid to speak her mind at the end as how she was in the beginning. I dunno.
