I think he is still alive because in the end of Code Geass R2, CC refers to the carriage driver as if he was Lelouch so who knows. There has been rumors of a new Code Geass season coming later on.

i bet hes still alive because when the screen goes across that horse wagon guy....if u picture him there.....they look alike...just with a face cover on.
