Right monitor is directly in front of me and has all the important windows.

Left monitor is off to the side and has utility windows and chat boxes.

I may replace the windows shell later, but I haven't reached a decision on that yet.

明日、今日より笑顔になれる
君がいるだけで そう思えるから
何十年 何百年 何千年
時を超えよう
君をしてる

Until the last second

I’ll be smiling more tomorrow than today
Just being with you makes me feel that way
Ten years, a hundred years, a thousand years
Let’s spend the time together
I love you

Duel screen :gah: :o

I'd love a set-up like that, gaming on one screen and browsing on the other... I can only dream about it for the moment!

its much more useful when u are programming. using the documentary on one screen and programming on the other screen. i dont see any benefit using two screens for gaming and browsing internet at the same time ^^

windows 7 is a must have xD u are from the UK right? dunno if the OEM version is available there but it would be cheaper. home premium is probably the best choice for most users. it costs 75€. its nearly as expensive as one computer game. so i think its a reasonable price

i got me windows 7 at the beginning of the month. its no use waiting for the price to drop. that wont happen

EDIT: make sure u just want to install windows 7 on one computer. i dont know what kind of restriction the OEM version has. i know they wont give u technical help by phone. (thats something u really dont need) but i am not sure about the number of licenses it has. and that is something u may need in case u want to install windows 7 on more than one pc

but on the other hand most people wouldnt realize the difference between windows 7 and windows vista. maybe u are better off staying with windows vista xD

Yeah, Vista suits me fine now I've got used to it. I probably dont need 7 as much as someone like you who actually knows alot about computers (and who i'll probably ask if I ever have any problems, if its not too much trouble, since you seem very knowledgable =3)

I got a free win7 release through academic benefits a few months ago. I haven't really put it through much more than I've put XP through, and there's very little difference there. Some of the menus have a different look, and I spent the better part of a day trying to find where to set monitor resolutions and screen placement individually when I first installed it. I crashed it once, but it was a case where I was actively trying to break it. I haven't come across any compatibility issues yet, so as far as I'm concerned it was a good call to upgrade.

Also, the official Nanami theme is pretty nice. Only works with Win7 though.

yes you're right...
How am i suppose to play l4d while replying animesenshi's forum ? xD

Useful when i'm trying to edit the scripts for the sourcemod last time (not very important) :P

But its useful for mmorpg, while finding your frns in game, cause the online game's chatting system always pissed me off...
