Who would win in a fight, Gundams from Gundam 00 (reason I say 00 is cause it's the only Gundam series I've seen) vs Knightmare frames from Code Geass? I'll assume all the Knightmares have the special wings attached otherwise it would just be a sitting duck on the ground Also the fight is on Earth, so Gundams can't be hiding in space

ok think about the weapens knightmare use swods and staff like that and the gundam use beam and so even if the gundams lose the ability to fly thay well be able to shot them down ...

actually i was a gundam fans but after i watch code geass i agree that knightmare frame was stronger eg:Shinkirō has Absolute Defense Field(highest defensive power) , Structural Phase Transition Cannon. Mordred the red knightmare frame that pilot by anya , and the strongest knightmare frame Guren S.E.I.T.E.N. Eight Elements totally unbeatable by other gundam ,and F.L.E.I.J.A. bomb that shoted by suzaku can totally wiped up all gundam within a second.

I found this so-called battle less than specific. It was mentioned that it would involve Gundams from 00, but nothing specific regarding Knightmares from CG. If we're just comparing with the best vs. the best, then it'd be close. A lot of the latter CG R2 tech was ridiculously overblown and god-mod-like (I preferred the smart, tactical usage of ground-based Knightmares). The 'Wings of Light' apparently gave high-end Knightmare Frames ridiculous flight capabilities (without any stress, apparently on pilots), but then we also have the engimatic nature of GN drives and Gundams, especially that with 00 Raiser.

The defensive capabilities of Knightmares equipped with the absolute defense barrier is simliar to that of a full-powered GN field. Weaponry is about similar as the high-end KMFs and Gundams tend to use energy based weapons. As for who would win, iono...more likely Gundams, due to their higher weapon output, especially when compared with the overall size and power sources of each type of mecha. (Though it'd be close, like I said, given certain Wings-equipped suits)

Being a Mecha-nerd and loving both Gundam and Code Geass I'd have to say 00 would win hands down. I'm pretty sure their Solar Furnaces would easily not only outlast but also have a far higher output than what Knightmares operate on. Even with the Shinkirou having its absolute defense field I'm willing to be that a beam powered by something as powerful as GN Particles could pierce it quite easily. Freya doesn't really matter as you need to strike the target or catch them in the blast and as someone else mentioned with Trans-am both of those factors are totally nulled. In the end, Jesus Gun-errr 00 Raiser would just blink around everywhere blasting and carving up all the Knightmares and win.

It's not to quite say it's a weakness of Knightmares in particular, however. You're wanting to compare two drastically different kinds of shows that opperate on two drastically different power levels. About the only similarity within Geass and Gundam is that they both have giant robots. It's sort of unfair to compare them.

I think a more interesting vs. between the two series would be the tactics of Lelouch against Sumeragi. Code Geass was far more about situations and tactical choices than the actual robots fighting themselves. In fact, I think if you cut out all the robots and just replaced fights with games of chess you'd have a pretty solid sports series ala something like Hikaru no Go. That's probably a stretch since it's a little silly for the fate of the world to hinge on a game of chess, but then again... there's also Yu-Gi-Oh where the world's fate DOES hinge on children's card games lol.

The gundam in 00 would win since for one thing they basically have an unlimited power source. In Code Geass how many Knightmares could accurately shoot down a target 10km away. If it was Gundam Wing or something I could see the knightmares winning. Code geass is a better series 00 but their level of technology is superior.

i think 00 will win with 100% win percentage,coz 00 has Godly 00 with Trans Arm Risers can teleport and it can read enemy though so kningtmare are nothing to it's
