Well, Personally I prefer the manga. The story is more indepth than the Anime and usually the Anime Dwindles off and craps all over the place (eg Negima!, Fruits Basket and Ouran high Host Club)

So difficult... I can't vote. Each has advantages over the other.
In some animes they put in filler episodes, which is usually boring (or they keep playing the same episode over and over and over and over again). But in manga sometimes it is hard to follow all the action taking place in a battle. It is also easier to carry manga around and read it in the car, etc. Anime though has awesome music which the manga lacks.

it depends because sometimes the anime is better than manga or vise versa
even the manga shows more
sometimes the filler episodes cann be nice like in bleach

I think this is too close to call, so I'll abstain from voting, at least for now.
Manga gives you more depth to the story, and you can appreciate the artwork a bit better... and like Haruhi_fan says, it is portable.
But anime gives you the satisfaction of seeing the characters on the screen, in full colour all the way through, with a soundtrack.
...I just can't pick a favourite

Anime in all my experiences minus one piece, bleach, and naruto...due to fillers...also I guess Claymore and Suzuka since the anime stopped short while the manga continued.

Manga, but just by a little. With manga, you can take your time and enjoy the series at your own pace, and you can pretty much take it anywhere. But sometimes the anime has an awesome soundtrack (FLCL, for example).

its hard to choose for me....there are certain series like naruto which i prefer to read manga since the story just strays off and some on anime coz of the cool and beautiful images....sorry but i have to stay on the fence for this topic at the moment
