At the moment, the Moe league (previously ASenshi's Next Top Model) doesn't seem to be that big of a deal. It's kind of like something that people will go to only if they are taking a good browse through the forums, or specifically searching for it.
I suggest we advertise the Moe Leagu on the front page, even as just a small image linking to the thread, saying something like "Choose the next theme" or something similar. Then, in the forums, I think it could be a bigger deal than on the front page (because the people on the front page won't be as interested in the forums as the people in the forums are, and it might just annoy them).
Maybe there could be a banner up the top of the forums, saying something like "Moe League 2010 - cast your vote!"

I can try and make these if you like (in fact I'll work on them soonish, just making mockups).
I think this should be done for the Moe League, but also for other big events. Doesn't have to be intrusive, just noticeable.

I mean we used to have adverts for the ASML on this site. We had a hyperlinked ad in the space below the buttons in the shoutbox, and an advert above the chatbox on the main page. They disappeared after a whle, I asked about them and was told they were going to be put back, but I think they've been forgotten about now.

hmm, well maybe someone will remember then. Hope so!
Meanwhile, I'll still make some adverts, just in case. Plus, they could be used just to put in the thread to make it look prettiful :3

Oh and, can anybody, by any chance, give me the source for the checkered pattern used in the theme of the site?

I've been pretty swamped with school, so I extended the league to winter. There wasn't really a point to advertise left and right if it wasn't going to happen for another 3 months.

I used the A-Senshi logo to make a Moe League Logo, if anybody likes it =D
