I will continue updating this as I write more chapters. Please give constructive criticism and possibly events you would like to see appear, as this story is unrelated to things that happen during the story. Except for the obvious afterlife plot that gets mentioned.
Welcome..This is going to be my attempt at making a marvelous fanfiction for the anime Angel Beats! Titled "A Second Chance".
I'll attempt to focus on characters that haven't had much of a past explained. Eg, Shiina, TK, Fujimaki. This will be hard, as no facts for how they died or what they did were presented in the story, so it's completely up to me.
This thread is also totally unrelated to my other fanfiction thread, as those ones are not made by me. If you want to check it out, Here is the link.
Confirmed Characters In The Plot:

TL: Note. I know this is not really TK’s general way of speaking. I’ve made him a bit more serious. Don’t worry. Later he’ll be his normal self.
The constant sound of footsteps coming from all directions was what startled her. She, who was not in existence until moments ago, and it, appears nobody had even noticed the phenomenon that just occurred right in front of their eyes.
Stretching her arms wide, the girl slowly stood up, tidying her perfect raven hair and putting the black scarf back around her neck. She rubbed her eyes. She knew she had not been sleeping, so why did she feel so? Examining what was happening around her, pretending to not be interested while being prepared for anything… The instinct that was taught to her a long time ago, but she still remembered to this day.
“I don’t remember being here a moment ago...” she thought to herself.
“Hey, you! Yeah, you there by my window, do you think you could move any time so—“ came a voice from behind her, trailing off as she turned around to a slim blonde haired man wearing a red headband, his eyes not visible, but obvious he was in some sort of shock.
“Sorry! I didn’t know I was standing anywhere...I don’t even know how I got here.” The girl replied, she knew this man. It felt like she knew her too, but she didn’t press on the matter.
“You, I don’t mean to be rude but, you’re name is..Shiina, right?” the man asked, studying her face.
“Yes, as far as I know, how did you know? Do I know you?” Shiina’s eyes opened up wider, all previous traces of her being tired had now disappeared.
“I don’t know actually. But I felt like we’ve met before. Not here, somewhere else.” He still looked shocked – they both did – the two knew each other. They were sure of that, but neither of them it seemed wanted to say what they were both thinking…Yet.
“Could we have met somewhere in our previous life? Like, in the afterlife?” Shiina said, taking the courage to ask the bold question.
“Maybe,” he said, scratching his chin, “Come with me; I want to show you someone, my name’s TK by the way. Well, that’s what they all call me, never knew my parents you see.”
Closing the door behind her, Shiina followed him as he turned around. Her short stature was somewhat obvious in comparison to this man. He walked up two flights of steps, not saying anything, but always checking to see if she was still there. When he suddenly stopped walking, she looked up to see what had happened, but instead met the eyes of a relatively larger man with his fingers constantly pushing is glasses back up. He stood up and asked TK who she is, and turned back to her after hearing what he said.
“You’re really Shiina?” He asked, “Of course, of course you look exactly like her, all the way from the scarf to the two cuts in your skirt. Anyway, I’m Takamatsu in case you didn’t know.”
“Well. Yes, I am. How come everybody knows me? And why do I feel like I know them as well?” she replied, even more puzzled at the recent developments. She’s still trying to figure out why she was leaning by that door. “Why does this all have to happen right now?” she thought to herself.
“Well,” the man said, propping up his glasses once more, “I believe we were all part of a group in the afterlife. The leader of it, Yuri who I’ve been trying to find called it the Shinda Sekai Sensen or SSS as it was commonly abbreviated, there were a lot of other people in the group, and I can’t remember a lot of them, but TK and I have slowly been remembering one by one.”
“I should be surprised, or think that you are crazy. That would be the normal reaction, but I agree with you. There’s been a nagging sensation in my mind ever since I appeared on the other side of the door. I also believe I had a previous life. I don’t know why. Something just tells me and makes me believe it,” Shiina replied. Nodding her head as she decided to agree with him, “I’ll help you look for these people. If I see them, I’ll know right? Just like how I did with you two?”
“That should be what happens, yes,” confirmed Takamatsu, looking her in the eyes, “And thank you, it’s appreciated.”
“Alllllll Right! We found another one!” TK yelled, suddenly coming back to life, jumping off the couch and doing entirely uncoordinated dance moves, clicking his fingers with each step.
Shiina laughed, thinking to herself “How shallow minded. That’s the main thing I remember about this man.”

Reincarnation
Spoiler
The birds perched on a dying tree by the windows of a medium sized apartment all took off in flight as a loud, off-tune guitar note echoed throughout the park.
“Tssk, this is a little harder I remember,” she said, flicking back her brown hair as she re-adjusted the strings to her guitar and changing the volume on the amp once more, trying to get that perfect setting.
“We were all like that when we first started playing again, Hisako. To be expected of course, we haven’t had practice for a long time, you should have seen me play when I managed to find my guitar! I sounded like a screeching cat with nothing to play that I remembered,” chuckled a girl with pinkish coloured hair, changing the settings on the amp and motioning Hisako to play again, “Go on, try it now,” she encouraged her, looking at the birds flying off in the sky through the window.
This time a deadly guitar riff was played instead of a single note, with perfect sound.
Looking up at Hisako, the girl gave her a thumbs up and a smile, giving her a sheet of paper with notes scribbled on it, titled “Run With Wolves”
“Iwasawa, what’s this for? Am I singing? It’s your song, the new one also,” Hisako replied, concerned.
“I’m too tired to do anything ri-,” Iwasawa said, trailing off as she yawned, “Right now. Plus, I want you to try and sing it this time, it’s not like you’re that bad,” she said, poking her tongue out at the last bit, letting her know it was a joke.
“Alright, I’ll try. I’ll try and see if I can wake up Irie and Sekine as well,” Hisako said with a smirk, “But you have to play as well, otherwise it won’t sound good, ‘kay?” she added, pulling Iwasawa up and handing a guitar to her.
“Yeah, yeah,” Iwasawa grumbled, turning on her amplifier and connecting the guitar to it.
“One, two, three, and four...” Hisako counted in.
Two slow inspiring guitar riffs were played in perfect harmony, as if they were each complementing each other. Speeding up now, Hisako began to get ready to sing, letting loose an energetic voice, she began.
“Every night, otozure no itami wo, hishikishikishi mu, be tonna oedettai te. Nani ga? Wachiga ittano ka? Are mo koremo to, ko, kai noni in karememakuru~” Hisako sang, continuing to play on her guitar at the same time. Iwasawa gave her a smile, during the pause.
“ii mama, no ma cha doke ni naru ne to, darega tanno kanno wake-rannoku-nanu!” she continued, nodding at Iwasawa this time, telling her it was her turn to sing.
This time, an elegant, entrancing voice was sung, completing the synchronization of the two guitars.
The birds had now returned and were perched on the tree once more, not flying away to the music, almost as if they enjoyed it.
A girl with purple hair came around the corner, searching for the source of this marvellous sound. Stopping at a window when she that two girls were the source of the sound. She opened the door, smiling at the labelled “Girls Dead Monster -Reincarnation” and greeted the two girls inside, as they stopped playing.
“Yurippe?” asked Iwasawa, immediately.
“That’s right! Wasn’t hard to find you two either. I could hear the music from the end of the park,” she said, laughing, “Nice song as well,” she complimented.
“Irie and I were going to look for more members of the SSS later in the afternoon,” said Hisako, Yurippe’s attention now focused on her.
“Oh, she’s here as well?” questioned Yurippe.
“Yeah, and Sekine. We thought they would have woken up if we played, but I guess they haven’t,” Hisako replied.
“Let them sleep. We’ll be busy later. I want to find Yui and Hinata if possible, just because we’re alive again doesn’t mean you get to relax!” Yurippe said, looking at both Iwasawa and Hisako for their acknowledgement.
“You’ve still got the talent for leading...” Iwasawa said to herself. “That’s good.”

Old friends, new friends
Spoiler
“Are you alright, Yui?” asked a man with blue hair, tidying up her shirt and dusting off the gravel.
“I’m fine! Don’t worry about me Hinata-senpai, let’s go!” Yui replied with a big grin.
“Geez, she doesn’t slow down, not even now,” sighed Hinata, remembering how she was back in the Afterlife Battlefront.
“What’d ya say back there?” yelled Yui, flashing another big grin his way.
“Nothing, wait up, I’m coming!” replied Hinata, waving his hand, shuffling his forward a little bit faster this time around.
“C’mon hurry up! Matsushita is probably already waiting at the park with Fujimaki, they might have even started playing baseball without us!”
“Don’t worry we won’t be late Yui, the park’s just around the corner,” replied Hinata, failing at another attempt to calm her down.
Passing through a quick shortcut between two large buildings, they arrive at their destination and are greeted by five people. All of which they recognized immediately.
Yui stopped, eyes open, pointing at each one of the five people in front of her.
“Fujimaki, Matsushita, Tenshi, Otonashi and Oyama,” she recited, “Huh? Why are you three here?!”
“Ahah...Well, you see, Fujimaki told us he was playing baseball at the park so I brought these two along,” Otonashi replied, grabbing the other two by the scruff of their collar and pulling them towards him, with a grin on his face.

I'll fix this when I get my sheet returned by my English teacher.
