Greetings to all, I know I'm new in here, but i have been leeching in here since then, and also for the sake of others too, I would like to suggest that AnimeSenshi should also create a mp4 (or other low memory video formats) as per every episode release. I really appreciated your fast AVI(+200mb) releases since it's less hassle than playing mkv on handheld devices such as iPhone or iPod, but it is still a big chunk of memory to download, especially when checking the updates on the go. I am well aware that many websites has already doing this such as the Anime-PMP Blogspot, Cyber12, Anime4PSP but theirs is, on the first mention, the uploader is busy in on whatever that their new release is 4days-2weeks old compare to the japan's release. The cyber12 catches up but thier LQ is really LQ and the rarely post the new ova's and movies. The last one is same as the second in my opinion, though they only release one kind of video format which has an eye-cancerous quality.
So I am requesting to the good-hearted uploaders, releasers and the management of AnimeSenshi to take a look on the people who enjoys watching anime on their handheld devices, especially those hundred of thousands of enthusiast who uses their iPhone/iPod/iPad.
If there's a chance that this suggestion reaches the people who works in this site, I would also like to suggest that the format should also be in MP4 (iDevice-supported) and memory size of your releases are ranging from 80mb up to 140mb which would result to a 320p or 460p video resolution.
Although I've read similar topic and found out that to do this, all videos must also be converted, in my opinion, uploaders can just leave the old releases just as it is and start making mp4 or other format on the new season (spring '11) onwards. Self-converting is also an option, but we should consider too those people who can't access a computer due to their certain circumstances. I've made this topic different because of the predecessor topic was not supported, lacking and weak on appeal. There are many room for improvement for AnimeSenshi, it is getting better and better to the stage that they should also consider on going to a Mobile-Friendly interface.
Again, I hope you reconsider this possibility and make us people proud!

Let me suggest AVPlayer for iPhone/iPod Touch. Using this you'll be able to play .avi encoded videos as well as .mkv. Yes, it does cost a few dollars, but it's completely worth it.
