Why Do You Download Anime?

I download to watch, and save up some cash to buy it later on. Watching a DVD or Blu-ray on TV feels better than watching a high res on laptop to me

i download it cause its easier to share it with friends that way..and that way i do not have to worry about my own copy..cause like havin it on dvd's its quite bothersome thinkin when you'd be able to get it back or whether you'd still be gettin it back at all

Cause I don't have enough money and because I'd rather have an anime and know it's good before I buy the damn thing.

Blu Ray of course
Im kinda picky when it comes to Anime quality .. so i often download 720p anime
my place don't sell blu ray anime so yeah all i can do is download it

1) Money Issues, if I could buy them on DVD, I would
2) Watch and then buy is a good way to keep from getting something you don't like
3) Streaming sux, even the new HD streaming sux, even after upgrading my router, and my computer, it still SUX >.<
So as such, I only keep what I like to re-watch until I replace them with the actual DVDs/BRs. I do the same thing with my movies. I will buy them eventually, as soon as I can find AND afford them. There is some really good older stuff that is so damn hard to find now a days.

Because I'm broke and don't have a job to buy DVDs, and alot don't come to america of what I'm aware of.

I download animes only:
1. If it's new.
2. If it hasn't been licenced in my country.
3. For AMV making.
4. If I'm not sure if a series is good or not.
Otherwise I generally buy my anime. While, yes, it's horrendously overpriced, I like having hard copies (especially with pretty artwork boxes... DON'T JUDGE ME! *shot*).
