Have you ever tried to make the food you see in anime?

This is what my daughter and I made together. Homemade Ramen with pork complete with chopsticks to use. ;)

I've been interested in trying some of the foods you see in animes but what can you do.
You can report any broken links in the Completed Section HERE, and Request a series we don't already have HERE.
Also I will take requests for better version of series that we already have.

Well if they happen to say the name of the food, it makes it a lil easier since you just google the recipe and see how hard it is to make.
And when I say hard not just making it but getting the certain ingredients to make it.
Guess it is how motivated you are or not heh

My ability to cook doesn't extend much past frozen foods though sadly

Lol your birthday is the same day as mine, though i would suspect that you are a bit older since you have a daughter :D

Oh wow. This is really interesting. I really always wanted a bento made by my girlfriend / wife. Y'know, the ones with the sausage octopuses and an egg omelet with "aishiteru" written on it

While I usually don't think about making food 'from anime', I have been making japanese-style chicken curry on occasion these past few months, which is probably a staple in a bunch of shows. :)

Yep and none of it turned out good because I suck at cooking. My dad's a better cook............................... T.T in terms of gender it stops at the XX genes in my karyotype.... I am an epic fail on everything after that )TT___________TT)"
So far I've tried making:
Sushi
Miso soup
Red Bean Soup
Honey Milk
Rice (if that counts..... I mean it's a diet staple so it SHOULD be allowed to count :D)

I TOTALLY KNOW HOW TO MAKE SAUSAGE OCTOPUSES! Works best with coctail frankfurts, because they're small and red.
