If the completed anime section was sorted in various ways such as genre, or year created or maybe even by the production studio it would make searching through the lists a much quicker and easier process

Maybe they need a bigger button......... I know it says Anime on it but you know how ppl are these days.
Maybe change it to say Anime List or sumthin

its just cause the anime list is so enormous that if you want to casually browse through them all to pick up something you fancy,
you have to open up each page to see what its about,

Well, it doesn't exactly stand out. Perhaps rename the link from just "Anime" to "Anime Download Archive"?

I meant an index that shows ALL of the download threads posted in the forums.

For example, I don't see my AVI threads for Anyamal Tantei Kiruminzoo, Tales of the Abyss, or Tegami Bachi listed there.

There are some very simple reasons as to why user submitted threads are not included in the list.

1) someone would have to take the time to constantly be updating the list (as threads are added and removed) and no one wants to. If any one on the site was going to it would be me, but I simply do not have the time.
2) I personally think of having your links on the list as being a privilege awarded with being a dedicated uploader to the site.
3) Links on the list are those that the staff takes responsibility for keep up. Meaning that we do everything we can to ensure that those links work and will reupload them when they go down, but we can't make the same assurances for user submitted content.

I think it would be a good idea to added a naming scheme for the threads to the download rules so that if one chooses to view the threads alphabetically they you don't have threads with [MU] or [FS] in the title mess with the order. The naming scheme would probably just be have the series name first and any additional information after.

not on your life. i like anime senshi the way it is now... a-z easy as 1-2-3.......... once you get year and genre and catagory in the mix it's just too much of a headache for people to search that way. keep it simple... especially for idiots like me XD lololol

Though i meant to go through and do this months ago, but got distracted by work, The threads in the user submitted download section have now been renamed so that the series title is first. This should make it easier for you to find what you are looking for in there as you can now sort the threads alphabetically and not have the [MU] and [FS] messing up the order. I know this isn't quite what the users who posted in here wanted but it is the best that i can do an the moment.

Thanks Caboose. This was a pretty useful thing. If only all the users would tell us in their title what file type we can expect it would be much more appreciated than to have useless information about what one-click-hoster they used. The only thing apart of the name of the anime I care is to know if it's an original MKV (means no reencode), Mini-MKV or AVI.
