The Love/Hate relationship I am talking about is the fansubbing groups.
You see it all the time in the comments for the download section, where this fansub group is superior to this one.
Or that fansub group sucks or trolls too much.
No one ever seems to be happy with who has fansubbed it (or at least whichever one the uploader has loaded).

I for one am happy that anyone subs the anime that I watch.
There has only been one time that I didn't care for a certain fansub group.
The only reason why I didn't care for that sub group was that their subs were hard to read due to poor choice in color
(white with white border which made it looked like it was smeared).

What are the fansubs that you like or dislike? And why?
Or are you like me and just happy that someone takes the time to do what they do?

If nothing else I hope they continue to sub the anime that I love to watch and I'll continue to cheer them on in their efforts.

There were many group i used to like such as Bullet Speed Subs, Eclipse, Static-Subs, ANBU, that are now gone for the most part.

A few are still around such as TMD which is now UTW. Since i've almost stopped watching anime i'm not all that familiar with newer groups, but most are now based on the scripts from CR and such so the difference in quality between groups has dropped significantly.

I don't hate them, wont whine about it either ..the fact that there are people out there doin' subs of the anime that i like makes me thankful.

Of course if there are multiple to pick from for a series, I try to find out which is the most accurate or best to take for my use...

but I won't badmouth any of them, even if they make some mistakes, they are doing a good thing on their own time. ^^

I'm not really aware of any fan subbing groups, but I admire them for doing what they love to do.
Maybe the subs are not accurate, but it's no reason to hate them.
In the first place, we are not paying them to do that.

alot of people hate on gg fansubs for their trolling. i cant say im not bothered by it but i havent witnessed any trollsubs that would truely make a show unwatchable, with an exception to hidan no aria, that was some serious trolling.

trollsubs or not, at the end of the day im just grateful for the work they put in

I'm just happy to get to even watch and understand the anime. The only complaint I have is when the subs blend into everything else.
