For me it's definitely Tsubasa Chronicle, simply amazing. Just listen to this.

Welcome to the NHK's soundtrack was supurb
Aria the animation/natural/origination was amazing.

I haven't watched Tsubasa Chronicles, but that song is epic (:

I don't really recall much of the soundtracks in the animes I've watched. Early Naruto episodes had some nice soundtrack with the wind/flute stuff. NHK had very fitting soundtracks that played a big part in setting the moods. All I remember x__x
The speed at which cherry blossoms fall, five centimeters per second.

Cowboy Bebop; Yoko Kanno and The Seatbelts, I actually listen to some of that jazz now and then, it sounds gr8.

Wow completely forgot about Cowboy Bebop. I gotta add Samurai Champloo also.
Can't forget Mai Hime and Mai Otome also, but I like them 'cuz it's the same woman (Kajiura Yuki) that composed the music for Tsubasa Chronicle lol.

Naruto, and (Chobits, I think) and Seto no Hanayome had good tracks. While Naruto was good; Seto no Hanayome and Chobits had a lighter, and more fun/musical tune which I liked.

I agree wholeheartedly with this :D - the background music for the first season was brilliant! - As well as the opening and closing themes, of course :lol:
