Why do you guys encode to hardsubbed Xvid 400p only?
wouldn't encoding to hardsubbed mp4 h.264 480p better choice from quality point of view?
you can easily encode to mp4 using cyko http://code.google.com/p/cyko/
that way size would be also lower & quality better than Xvid

The uploaders use 400p xvid cause it is compatible with everything under the sun, if people want quality they grab the original mkv.
mp4 is compatible with a lot but not as much as xvid.

then why not encode to both avi and mp4?
as for me i can't play those Original MKV's (old PC)
AVI file size around 192 to 200MB too big to download for me (it will take 3hours just to download one episode)
that's why i want mp4 400 or 480p encodes because size will be lot less compared to avi around 70 or 80MB
and it will be easier to download for slow net guy like me
